Special Message:
On Friday, September 25th, we experienced a barn fire on our property. Sadly, we lost three of our horses. The barn is a total loss. This is an unimaginable loss for us. This could not have come at a worse time for us - considering October is prime pumpkin picking.
Despite this tragedy, despite all of our losses, our community has been so kind to us with the recovery process. We can never say thank you enough to everyone who reached out to assist, who offered thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much.
We made the decision to re-open starting Saturday, October 3rd.
We are trying to let everyone know ahead of time - our cute little farm is not a cute little farm right now. It's a little muddy, it will be fenced in to protect everyone from the area that was impacted, our decorations are gone. The ambiance is not giving pumpkin patch exactly right now. We decided to still open because seeing the time and effort we put into growing pumpkins, into picking pumpkins, into setting up games and the maze would just become another loss through this tragedy if we closed for the season.
We hope for your understanding.
Thanks,
The Everard Family
